Christmas has lasted about 2 1/2 days at our house. Since dad is leaving tomorrow for a 2 week trip overseas, & I'm coordinating and doing the flowers for Jennifer's wedding, we've had to do our Christmas a little different. It's been a lot of fun and very relaxing. It was a lot of fun to watch my family open their gifts. I think I enjoyed Jimmy & Katie the most. Jimmy decided to be a little extravagant and go all out this year. His presents were our (Katie & I) birthday and Christmas presents combined. He bought Katie all three Extended Edition Lord of the Rings movies (used). He bought me Disney's Beauty & the Beast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited. I've wanted that movie so much, but wasn't about to pay for it. It is now in the Disney Vault, so you can only buy it used. It's not exactly cheap. I was so proud of my brother. He decided to get me that without any help. It wasn't on my Amazon wish list. He made me so happy!!! I'm somewhat of a Disney fanatic and I've been trying to collect the Disney classic cartoons (the one's I like that is...). Beauty and The Beast is my absolute favorite and one of the last ones that I wanted (that is on DVD). I also got a soundtrack, movie, book, iTunes gift card, & cash (yahoo!!!). It was a lot of fun. We've done a lot of hanging out as a family and I've done a lot of sleeping. Didn't realize how tired I was until I had a chance to stop. It's been such a blessing to have nothing to do and be able to rest. God is so kind.

Tomorrow we leave early to take dad to the Charlotte airport. He's flying overseas for a "missions trip". Please keep him in your prayers. Then we get back and I get to do something I've never done before...be a Wedding Coordinator. I am doing the flowers (woohoo!!!!!), decorating the sanctuary & reception hall (I'm up to my ears in red bows.), and hopefully helping to keep everyone calm and tell them all where to be and when. :) I'm so excited. I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited. You can keep me in your prayers, too! I probably won't be blogging until Saturday evening. I won't have any time until then. Hopefully I'll have some pics next week. I'm reliing on others to take pictures, since I don't have a camera. :(

Have a very Merry Christmas!!!
