Little Known Fact

clem-06-head-l

Yes, surprising as this may be, I do like football. I typically get raised eyebrows when folks find out I like football. Most of my family could care less (including my dad). But, yes, I like football, especially college football. And if you haven't figured it out, I unashamedly like Clemson University!!! Just a little warning, the end of August is around the corner. And I will probably randomly post things about Clemson's season (which looks like it has the potential of being a good one!). If you don't like Clemson, sigh, I guess that's ok. But, if you happen to like Duke, the Tarheels (who I affectionately call the High Heel Tarheels), USC, or the Gators; be prepared...expect some smart remarks...I can't stand any of those teams! Just a random, somewhat little known fact from my life. :)

Go CLEMSON!!! Tarheel... it doesn't really make sense, Wendy. But hey, that's why they're such losers. What else can ya expect.

If my memory serves me correctly, "Tarheel" was a name used during the Revolutionary war (or something like that)...

I would enter this discussion, but i decided not to stoop to you're level of ignorance... but to quote a great movie, you are a sad strange little man and you have my pity...

First off, I'm not a man...

And by stating you weren't going to stoop, ya did...

I could say that liking NC State, Tarheels, AND Duke is a little strange too...

two things: 1)Go USC!!!!I LOVE YOU!!! 2) Tarheels came from the name of N. Carolina Confederate soldiers in the Civil War. They were named that because they retreated from the battle field so slowly, they were thought to have tar on the soles of their feet.

1) thanks for the correct history on the tarheels

2)sigh...my little brother is sadly deceived and delusional...maybe one day he'll see the light.
